As teachers, we oftentimes adopt different identities - some more general (like a form teacher), while others are more specific (like a science or mathematics teacher). These identities are interwoven into our teaching experiences and influence our self-confidence, self-knowledge, and sense of being. In integrated STEM learning, we can similarly examine how our ideas of monodisciplines (science, mathematics or technology) can be featured when integrated with the learning and practices of other disciplines. This STEM education journal aims to be a companion, or a guiding 'voice' if you will, for anyone who wishes to embark on this journey from being to becoming a competent STEM teacher. Becoming an integrated STEM teacher requires time. As such, this book is designed for use in two ways - (1) as a guide in the user's personal learning journey, and (2) as a companion for professional development communities. Six integrated STEM activities are presented as separate chapters, each with a probe, images of STEM inquiry in the form of a vignette, an instructional model, and suggested instructional strategies. These lesson ideas are tried and tested activities that require learners to connect deep domain knowledge and STEM inquiry skills to solve complex, persistent and extended problems. Questions for reflection, spaces for journalling, QR codes of videos and customizable teaching resources facilitate implementation of the STEM lessons ideas suggested"--
